Things are back up. While this isn't exactly an Amiga 2000 or a SunOS box that I would prefer bovine.com to run on, it is a flavor of *nix. (free at that) It at least stays in tune with Allen's memory as strange as that sounds. I finally moved the domain off of Network Solutions and consolidated it with the rest of my domains under my 'regular' service provider. Tough call to make, I've had a NS Guardian ID since the days of e-mail forms to control and register domains. And it was emotionally tough to cut that last little thread to the past and let it go for the sake of sanity.
I logged into LambdaMOO today just to see if my account was still active.

Which makes him 13 years, 5 months, and 10 days old.
However, for official purposes his age is 13 years, 4 months, and 13 days.
13 years. Less than two more and my account will be old enough to drive. The reality of age is setting in. It's been nearly that since Allen's death, and he still comes up in conversation. And I still think about him often, but these days it's more of a, "I really wish he could be here to see this, he'd think it was cool." type of a way.
